FAQ

Item Creation

Q: What are these products made from?
A: PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a thermoplastic polyester material that is commonly used in 3D printing due to its strength and durability. Hive Tech Solutions will add other material options in due course.

Q: How does 3D printing work?
A: 3D printing is a process of creating three-dimensional objects by layering materials based on a digital design. This is performed through the use of our specialised printers that melt and deposit the material in successive layers until the object is complete. Please note that due to the nature of this process there may be slight cosmetic differences, however this does not affect item functionality.

Q: How can I custom order?
A: If you require a design that doesn't exist in our range or needs adjustment, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you.

Q: Do you sell .STL files?
A: Not at this stage.

Q: How long is turnaround?
A: We print items to order. Our usual turnaround for smaller orders is 1-3 days. Bulk orders will take longer. Please contact us for an estimate time.
